Patch Management - Can You Afford Not To?

Speaking to an NHS customer recently, I was surprised to hear that they didn't have any patch management solution in place on their Windows network (not even the free WSUS service from Microsoft). The reason given was that the customer "couldn't afford it".

If you are a ZENworks Configuration Management customer, you can add ZENworks Patch Management to your existing solution to provide a fully managed and tested patch service for all Windows devices on your network with patches not just for Windows and Office, but also other key applications such as Adobe Flash and QuickTime.

Even if you aren't a ZENworks Configuration Management customer, speak to us and find out more about what it can provide (it works in a pure Microsoft Active Directory environment, no Open Enterprise Server or eDirectory required), NHS customers are already entitled to the Standard version at no additional cost, as part of the national licencing agreement with Novell.

If you think you "can't afford it", take a look at a recent report in the Manchester Evening News - a recent virus outbreak has ultimately cost the City Council well over one million pounds in recovery fees, not to mention downtime and explaining it all to the Council's taxpayers!
