Plymouth ICT Service chooses Salford Software Ltd to support them in the design and deployment of the Identity Management and Single Sign On solution for the Plymouth Healthcare Community.

On 10th March 2008, Plymouth ICT Service entered into an agreement by which Salford Software Limited have undertaken to support their staff in the design and deployment of an Identity Management that will automate staff provisioning via the Electronic Staff Record system. The Single Sign On component of this project is intended to enhance end user security by integrating with the NHS Smartcard, offering a single authentication experience to local and national applications.
