Identity Management Rapid Implementation Service for ESR (Electronic Staff Record system) automates the provisioning of user identities into the Trust's local Microsoft Active Directory or Novell eDirectory directory service. Once connected, the Rapid Implementation Service can monitor changes within the ESR system such as New, Modified or Deleted (starters, movers & leavers) accounts. These changes will automatically be synchronised into the Active Directory or eDirectory.

Rapid Implememtation uses data from the ESR to automatically administer the user accounts in Active Directory to deliver a proven, assured, timely and efficient account administration process.

The Identity Management Rapid Implementation Service for ESR has been designed to enable a Trust to quickly link ESR to their local directory service. Salford Software professional services work with the trust to plan, build, test and implement the Identity Management service into the production infrastructure.

Automated Email Account Provisioning

The creation of new email accounts in Exchange, GroupWise or NHS mail is also possible. Email provisioning and deprovisioning to users, can be automated through the configuration systems and in line with the organisational email account naming policy.

Software licensing for the Identity Management Rapid Implementation Service for ESR Version 2 is centrally funded by Connecting for Health under the NHS EWA agreements.
