By using Identity Manager to connect the ESR employee feed to the directory and other clinical applications a standard set of ID’s and Passwords can be maintained.

Whilst this does not provide a seamless Single Sign On environment it does mean that the user only has to remember one ID and Password to access all connected systems. By using this technology and maintaining a consistant credential set calls to the service desk are reduced and efficiency is improved.
