Within many businesses today users are asked to agree to an "Aceptable Use Policy" before they are granted access to computer systems. This ensures that users know what they should and should not do while maintaining a strong auditable record that users have agreed the policy.

This could be annually or at any interval which suits the business. Because the user must physically accept the policy it is auditable with the date and time of the agreement stamped into the directory system and, where required, into a full audit system.
