During this time both organisations have been working very closely to ensure they maintain the high levels of service and support to which you, the customer, are rightly entitled. Over the last 17 years, Salford Software has adapted to the needs of academic customers. This has meant providing licensing, support, training and professional services. In addition to these front line services, in the background, Salford Software also acted as the distributor for Novell. From March 1st 2008 Novell launched a new academic distribution model, through which Salford Software will procure on behalf of its customers. This will allow Salford Software to focus on its core business of providing quality Novell services and support. What does this mean to you? With regards to your existing contracts (licensing and support) there will be no changes. There will be no disruption to services.
