Remote Monitor

Remote Monitor is a flexible framework delivering live monitoring of a customers environment, constantly checking IT services. If a problem should be detected then alerts may be sent to either Salford Software's technical helpdesk, direct to the customer or both.

The flexibility of the technology behind Remote Monitor provides a number of different monitoring options. Alert priorities can be defined and hours of monitoring specified according to the customer's requirements. The alerts generated by Remote Monitor are clear and concise, cutting down on the time taken to locate and resolve problems.

Remote Monitor enabled customers may elect to subscribe to a managed service with alerts being sent to Salford Software's technical helpdesk, enabling responses within the hour, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

With prior authorisation Salford Software can investigate problems remotely and where possible resolve them without having to raise additional resource from the customer. Service Levels, the hours of monitoring and response format can be specified and agreed by the customer.
